As of August 5, 2014, ScooterBug, Inc. merged with Safemark Systems, a leader in guest security products and systems providing hospitality industry room safes and electronic locker systems to the entertainment and leisure industries. As a result of this merger, Best Lockers, a division of Safemark, will be combined with ScooterBug providing our customers with an extensive portfolio of guest mobility solutions and electronic locker systems through our comprehensive outsourcing management and service programs.

 

This merger brings together three innovative organizations providing a unique array of guest convenience products and value added solutions utilizing exclusive patent technologies that guests and visitors expect when visiting your venues today. Our goals are to continue to ensure our customers and partners increase profitability and improve operational efficiencies, all while enhancing the overall guest experience.

ScooterBug Named Mobility Provider for The Great American Outdoor Show February 1-9, 2014

ScooterBug is pleased to announce that it has been name the sole mobility provider for The Great American Outdoor Show in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania for 2014.


The Great American Outdoor Show is a nine day event (February 1-9, 2014) celebrating hunting, fishing and outdoor traditions that are treasured by millions of Americans and their families.


The show features nearly 1,000 exhibitors covering 650,000 square feet of exhibit hall space. Not to mention a jam packed schedule including concerts, fundraising dinners, speaking events, archery competitions, celebrity appearances, seminars, demonstrations and much more.

ScooterBug Launches New Reservation Management System

March 2013

ScooterBug Inc. has launched its proprietary Reservation Management System (SRMS) to address the burgeoning need to simplify and make more accessible the reserving of mobility equipment at destination venues worldwide.

This cloud-based reservation management solution allows venues to better manage mobility equipment rentals for their guests and visitors, and is specifically designed to meet the business management needs of the guest mobility industry. The SRMS includes a public user portal for direct guest reservation creation along with an administrative back-of-the-house suite of tools enabling venues and facilities to more effectively manage their entire rental process.

ScooterBug Acquires Active Mobility
October 2012​

 

ScooterBug Inc., a leading provider of guest mobility solutions to entertainment venues around the world, is pleased to announce that it has acquired Las Vegas, Nevada-based Active Mobility, LLC. This acquisition was completed and is effective as of September 26, 2012.

Together, the combined company will offer the hospitality, gaming and convention industry’s most comprehensive, best-in-class guest and mobility solutions – exceeding 300 customers and 42,000 pieces of equipment deployed in North America and across the globe.  With the addition of Active Mobility, ScooterBug now provides mobility solutions in over 100 gaming sites in the US.
